“The Vuka team received an invitation earlier this month to attend the HVTN Full Group Meeting held in Washington, DC. We were also invited to present at one of the Community Engagement breakout sessions where Bulelwa Mnyango, the Community Liaison Officer at Vuka, participated in the panel discussion to offer insights on her experiences on engaging with different stakeholder organizations in the community as well as exchanging best practices regarding effective models of communication and community partnerships.

 

We are grateful to the HVTN regional teams for their continuous efforts to support the global review of vaccines to prevent HIV/AIDS in emerging countries, as well as for the honour of being invited to attend the full group meeting this year.”
